French Pinot noir and Chardonnay, especially from Burgundy, are known for their subtle terroir driven flavours and often lighter styles while Italian Pinot Noir (Pinot Nero) and Chardonnay can exhibit fruitier bolder styles influenced by warmer climate and winemaking techniques. Alex is a sixth generation vigneron from the famed village of Meursault in Burgundy and is a great ambassador of France's wine regions.
